This Kickstarter workshop will be around three hours. For the first 90 mins, I'll to talk through all the different parts of a Kickstarter, from how to design your campaign to how to get pre-launch followers, to where to get products made and shipping, backer updates, and fulfillment tips. ALL THE THINGS. And then, for the remainder, I will answer questions.

I usually get a lot of questions, and I’m happy to answer them. This is why we have three hours. That’s about my limit before I stop being able to say full sentences :)

Q. Do I have to be on the webinar live?

A. Nope! The webinar will be recorded so you can watch it any time. You will be able to send in questions beforehand and I'll do those questions first.

Q. What if I’ve run a Kickstarter before. Is this right for me or is it for absolute beginners?

A. I will be doing a fair bit of content for beginners, and there will be beginners on the call. However, I think we can always learn more about Kickstarter to improve our campaigns (I tweak and improve things every time) so I think you will still look oodles.

Q. I’m traditionally published or pursuing traditional publishing. Is this for me, or only for indies?

A. It’s for both indie and trad! You may not know this, but I’ve recently signed a traditional publishing contract. My 2026 Kickstarter is for a trad book and I have LOTS of ideas and hacks for trad authors. I speak to trad pub as well as indie and will give you lots of ideas for strategy and book marketing.

A. I think it's best if you come along at least having SOME idea of what Kickstarter is and that you'd like to run one. But YES, I will have oodles of content just for you and I won't be assuming everyone has run a campaign before.
